	Quality Assurance InteMedica prides itself on only manufacturing and distributing products of the highest quality standards and ensures that all products meet or exceed GMP and FDA guidelines. Homeopathic Formulas – InteMedica’s homeopathic lines are manufactured in FDA licensed facilities under strict conditions as enforced by local health authorities and the U.S. FDA. As homeopathic remedies are governed as drugs (both OTC and Rx) by the FDA, the manufacturing process must be licensed in a similar fashion to other OTC and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Chinese Herbs – There has been considerable press in recent years about potential contamination of Chinese herbal products. InteMedica has gone to extreme measures to ensure that all InteMedica products are of the highest quality. To ensure this high standard, InteMedica has established operations in China and has formed strategic alliances with Tsinghua University in Beijing and NERC in Shanghai to work on ways to improve the quality of herbal products coming from China. InteMedica is on the forefront of Thin-Layer Chromatography (TLC) and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) technology to identify herbs, but to also use these and other laboratory analyses during the manufacturing and packaging stages to ensure quality throughout the manufacturing process. All of InteMedica’s products are tested for heavy metals, pesticides, mold, yeast, pathogens and bacteria. Supportive Nutritional Products – InteMedica’s nutritional line is manufactured in a US GMP certified facility. In addition, the facility is also registered by the Australian Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA) which has an even higher level of quality standards. All materials are sourced by GMP compliant suppliers with laboratory testing of mold, yeast, pathogens and bacteria conducted on both the individual raw materials and the finished product.
